Boston Library Yale Safe by rpongsaj
A couple of years ago I had to open a personal/hotel-room style safe without a key. I contacted the manufacturer, thinking that just maybe, given a serial number, they could supply a new key. Instead I got complete instructions for breaking into their safes. Yay security!
I’m not sure which is dumber – that it’s so simple to open, or that they give “defeat-our-product” howtos to anyone who asks. Anyway:

Same as above! Do you remember how you “cracked” the safe as Nutool are no longer trading & i can’t get answers/copy of manual anywhere!!!!!

Had the same problem Stood the safe against a radiator with key pad touching it.Left there for approx 48hrs The heat charged batteries enough to open safe. Good luck.

The Nutool SF10 came with a set of emergency keys. You remove panel between knob and digital panel, under this panel is a lock which you can then undo with the key.
The problem I have now is have changed the batteries for new, but it still has no power. -
even worse than above,whilst batteries being recharged, wife shut and locked door on my sf20.obviosley now wont open

I’ve just opened my safe using brute force. The lock is a loose fit in the door, so using a big screwdriver, with molegrips attatched for extra leverage, I turned the lock backwards and forewards. The outer part of the lockwill eventually turn far enough, anti-clockwise, to release the door mechanism.

l have a nutool sf10 safe with keyboard entry the bottom of the keyboard from left to right E O E can anybody please tell me what they stand for,

Could not lock the safe at all and dismantled the cover. Found an L shaped pc of metal and two screws knocking around in the base, and put these back inside the bolt slider where the solenoid lock engages it to lock the safe. Inside, I have to say – wot a load of rubbish. No grease on any moving bits, no spring washers on screws and nuts – no wonder these give problems. Recommend users at least grease the thing up a bit for relaibility, and check all the screws/nuts are tight behind the cover.
Anyway, have the key and all working on key over-ride, and does lock itself on the solenoidal, but now can’t remember how the digi-combo is inputted. I know its S – code – E, but how many numbers was it? We know its something to do with wife’s birthday, but the obvious 4 digit, S year E ‘ does nothing but make a series of beeps. Any-one know if the code is 4 digits, or 6, or 8? Once we know that there are only so many ways if putting in her birthday and getting the digi-combo to go. And, what is the re-set sequence? Maybe if the batts are out it defaults to a factory code? Any-one know? -

The combo is S – ****** – E ie bottom left button, 6 digit number – bottom rt.
Reset is hold the red button in on the back, S -input new number – E , release red button.
